App
This data Privacy Statement applies in combination with Dräger’s Privacy information which can be accessed following link and any relevant Agreements on Data Processing (Article 28 GDPR) that the parties have entered into.
Description
The FireGround App (“App”) which runs on a tablet is intended for use in conjunction with Dräger hardware; Dräger AirBoss Connect and FireGround HUB. Dräger AirBoss, worn by firefighters operating in an incident includes the functionality of Dräger AirBoss Connect which connects automatically sending data to the FireGround HUB, this relays the data (that is monitoring the status of firefighters inside an incident wearing AirBoss Connect; breathing protection equipment) to a tablet enabling such data to be displayed within the App.
The user of the App will be the controller in relation to data originating from the user and Dräger who may in the course of performing services process such data and will do so as a processor within the meaning of the UK General Data Protection Regulation.

Types of personal data
The App will store the user’s first and last names. The name and personal ID of the firefighters at the incident and their deployment data, device data and proceedings of the incident will also be stored. The App can be preloaded with names of firefighters by the user should this option be desired. The format in which data is stored ranges from text and voice notes, pictures, images and screenshots. No special category personal data will be processed or stored.
Storage
When the incident is finished, and the user concludes the session the data is removed from the screen of the tablet and saved in three (3) locations;
1. A technical data log is saved in and can be downloaded from the particular breathing protection device. Retention of this data is until storage is full, after which the first data will be overwritten.
2. A technical data log is saved in and can be downloaded from the FireGround HUB. Retention of this data is until storage is full, after which the first data will be overwritten. The connection data from all the breathing protection devices connected to the FireGround HUB during the incident, and logging data of the FireGround HUB itself is available to the user (eg. Battery level, LTE connectivity)
3. The incident data report is saved by the App on the tablet and includes all logged events from the incident, including App interactions - This data is not accessible to the user. It will be stored in the storage facility of the tablet until this is full or the user manually deinstalls the App / deletes the Apps stored data.
Should the user have implemented the cloud solution for FireGround Web all information collected will be uploaded live and/or post-incident to the cloud solution enabling users to access the information. The servers of the cloud solution are located in the Netherlands, consequently the data is transferred from the UK to the EU. It is possible for the user to request the use of servers located in the UK.
